Experience
This is my second year teaching in the Kansas City area. I currently teach 6th grade special education. I graduated from Emporia State with a undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I'm working on my master's degree from Emporia State in Adaptive Special Education with a concentration in learning disabilities. I am also working towards an autism specialist certification. Although I am a special education teacher, I have a passion for teacher all students in all subject areas. Its a wonderful experience when I can watch students make the connection with the material that wasn't understood before.
